Do you Travel?
I am available to hire throughout the southern suburbs of Adelaide. I do have some of my own personally chosen locations, which hold a special place in my heart in and around where I grew up that I know very well.
If required to travel more than 30 minutes a small travel fee is payable inquire for more details.
How long have you been doing this?
I have had a passion for photography since I was a young girl & that passion grew into a hobby & from there it has blossomed.
How many photos do we get?
The amount of photos you receive is dependant on the package you choose, I always supply an specific amount of images in each package & depending on how many images we get in the session you may be able to upgrade your gallery to include any images over the package inclusion for a small fee.
How far out do you book?
It varies depending on the time of the year, I suggest getting in touch as soon as possible to secure your preferred date. My current availabilities are available on my social media weekly.
When do I need to pay for the session?
A $50 non refundable Deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date & remainder due seven days before your session. Once payment is received I will send you a digital receipt to acknowledge I have received your package fee.
*$100 Deposit required for Bump to Baby
**$200 Deposit required for weddings
How do we get our photos?
Images will be available for viewing & download in my gallery, I will send you an email when they are ready.
Do you retouch photos?
I choose not to do too much editing to my images rather I enhance the beauty that is already present in the image.
Do we have to pose & look at the camera?
No, I may give you direction in how to stand or sit during the session. Otherwise I encourage my clients to interact with each other as naturally as possible through out the session, talking, laughing, engaging with one another. This way we achieve beautifully natural images of your family just being you. Think of the session as family fun time & I'm in the background to capture the magic of your family.
Whats your turn around time?
Images will be available to view and download through my online gallery between 3 to 5 weeks after your session. I regularly update my editing list on my socials.
How do we book you?
Contact me via email, facebook or instagram direct message.
What should we wear?
I suggest warm natural earthy tones, browns, tan, cream, beige, white (cream white), khaki, olive, mint, dusty pink, rust, mustard etc. I suggest avoiding small patterns, logos & dark colours. When it comes to white avoid blue whites & go for creamier whites as the blue whites tend to give a blue reflect in your images.
Should I bring helpers?
I recommend just the family memebers in the shoot being present for the session, this helps to minimise distraction for the little ones. It also allows me to capture those naturally beautiful moments you are looking for as I find the children are more relaxed. If it's a session for just children of course a family member can be present throughout the session.
What time are your sessions?
I prefer to do all outdoor sessions either at sunrise or an hour before sunset, the light is soft, golden & magical.
Studio & In Home sessions are held at around 930/10am weekday mornings.
Can I take photo's during the session?
No, I ask that clients please do not take photo's during a session. This ensures that the family member is focused where I need them to be and I ask that you trust I will get the photo's you are hiring me to take.
Who owns the final edited images?
You of course! You are able to use the images for reproduction purposes in anyway you wish!
Ohlalah Photography does however maintain the ability to use the images for promotional purposes online or print unless you request in writing via your questionnaire by the day of your session that they not be used for the above purposes.
Copyright remains with the Photographer and you may not alter (including re-editing), sell, or claim these images as your own work. You may not use the images in public publications, competitions, exhibitions or for any other commercial use without the prior written consent from the photographer.
How long do I have to access my gallery?
I give clients four weeks to access, view & download their galleries before the link expires & the gallery is taken down. Clients are able to contact me at any time if they wish to access there gallery again & I am able to re issue a new link.
What if I need to postpone/reschedule my session?
I completely understand life happens & people can get sick, injured or have a life altering event that may cause your session to need to be postponed. I am always happy to accommodate this and get you the closest possible date I can. I understand anything can happen especially working with children & having my own at anytime so just let me know as soon as you can. Just as if anything is to happen on my end where I may need to reschedule our session I will let you know at the earliest convenience.
If you need to postpone/reschedule due to reasons out of the photographers control a reschedule for the session will be offered for my next available date & must be rescheduled at the time of requesting the reschedule. If further reschedules are required you will have 12 months from the original session date to complete the session. Unless otherwise instructed by the photographer your current invoice will still need to be paid by the current due date stated on the invoice.
A contract will be provided at time of booking with detailed terms & conditions.
Do you do prints?
With all my packages you receive a complimentary 8x10" print. As part of your gallery there is a print store that runs through a premium print company here in Adelaide, Atkins Pro Lab this is the same company that you will get your complimentary print from & their prints are just stunning. If you choose to print elsewhere I can't guarantee print colour & quality but suggest you pick a premium company, if you need any help with ordering through the gallery store I am happy to help.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
I am always happy to reschedule your session if the weather is not looking good (raining or too hot) on the day of your booking prior to the session commencing. I completely understand weather is not something any of us can control and if the weather doesn't suit the style of session we are going for we can reschedule for a more suitable day.
If the weather is bad on the day & we are unable to shoot a reschedule will be offered.

Do you have a working with children check?
Yes I am legally able to work with children & this check is kept up to date.
I am also a qualified Child Care Educator, so I have plenty of experience working with little ones.
Are you vaccinated?
Yes, I keep up to date with all vaccinations including whooping cough, Flu & Covid 19.
